Restaurant Steakhaus Dedic in Rhede

We loved going to this steak house until our last visit. The last visit, however, was a total disaster. My wife and I wanted to treat ourselves to something and ordered a steak platter for two for just under 70 euros. Since it was specially written that it can only be ordered from 2 people and I made it clear to the waiter what we wanted, I was surprised when the waiter set me a dish. The fact that rice was brought in instead of French fries should only be mentioned in passing. After pointing out to the waiter why I had a plate dish and my wife did not notice anything, the waiter apparently did not take a dish for my wife. This has never happened to me in a restaurant before. My wife then received her dish when I was of course long finished. The fries were also missing from my wife. There was also no rice as an alternative like mine. In addition, according to the description, the two steaks should have approx. 500 grams. It is clear that this cannot be determined exactly, but I would estimate the weight of the two staeks together at around 350 grams. When we got the bill, not a cent was deducted. No reasonable excuse, no offer for dessert or drink. That is not how it works...

The food is great, but the service leaves a lot to be desired, even though we were served by the owner. The food was brought to us and that was it, no question whether it tasted good or whether we would like to have a drink. After clearing, we waited a long time and ultimately had to get up and go to the front to pay.

The food is very tasty. Always FRESH mushrooms and FRESH vegetables. The fillet, always fried to the point. Excellent quality for years. We often order for family celebrations and the quantity is well coordinated.

Delicious steaks, just the way you want them, attentive service and a salad buffet, which in addition to the standard items also includes pickled, fried mushrooms, zucchini, peppers and so on.

A super great restaurant, I'm still thrilled. We were there just before Christmas, it was quite busy and the waiting time was a bit longer, but the food was excellent. I had super delicious bruschetta and then a lady steak - fillet of beef with mushrooms and fried potatoes (actually foil potato). There was also salad from the buffet. Everything was perfectly seasoned and my fillet steak was the tenderest meat I've ever eaten. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures, otherwise I could show how nice the food was. Oh yes, the service was very friendly even though the restaurant was full to the last seat. In terms of price, it was also completely okay, because only first-class ingredients were used. I can only recommend the restaurant to everyone, I will definitely go there myself more often.

I didn't like the hunter's schnitzel with chips. Service was good.

Have late evening in this first class restaurant still something to eat. First and foremost steaks are served here. My selection was the Grillteller Spezial. Salad buffet with fried mushrooms. Fresh salad and pink tender meat. The Croatian operator has been in this restaurant for 35 years! That and that excellent food speak for themselves! Recommendation and happy again.

Cozy atmosphere, many seats also with outdoor area. In the front area there is a bar and a salad bar. Steaks get as ordered, perfect medium. Food in general very good, wide selection.
